Youth Team Coach Uses epicRIDES for Training

Youth Team Coach Uses epicRIDES for Training

Darrick Walls is a new and enthusiastic epicRIDES customer, using our DVD series to coach his youth and junior (ages 8 - 18) triathlon team called Tri4Him

Every Thursday the Tri4Him athletes use a suburban Dallas/Ft. Worth spin studio at the Knobbies and Slicks bike shop in Colleyville, TX. The spin studio is set up with Cycleops Spin Bikes, Cycleops trainers, sound system and two flat screen tv’s.

At first parents were skeptical of how Darrick was going to keep young athletes focused for an hour workout.  That's when Darrick purchased some epicRIDES DVDs. His kids (athletes) loved them and Darrick was enthusiastic, "Using epicRIDES gives us the feel of being on the road without the safety concerns of being on the road with 15 or more kids. Our team's favorite ride is the Hill Country in Texas. As a coach of young athletes, epicRIDES has become a valuable tool in my training plan."

Darrick Walls is a USAT certified coach that has been involved in the sport of triathlon for over 10 years. He has raced in the full Ironman, half iron, Olympic, and sprint races. Darrick is a competitive cyclist in road cycling and mountain biking. He is a Category 2 in mountain bike racing and has completed in several marathon and half marathon races. Darrick has been involved in coaching youth for over 10 years and is focused on the development of youth and junior athletes in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

The Tri4Him Youth and Junior Team's mission is to enable young athletes to reach their God-given potential. Their youth and junior teams are organized and coordinated at the local level by Tri4Him's USAT-certified triathlon coaches. The team’s objective is to provide young athletes with an opportunity to develop their skills and fitness and take their performance to the highest level they wish to achieve, through a FUN, learning team atmosphere.

New Higher Quality DDLs Available!

New Higher Quality DDLs Available!

With the advent of the higher resolution screens of  the iPad and iPhone 4 there's now a need for a higher resolution epicRIDES Digital Download. We're calling them DDL-HQ (High Quality) with almost four times the resolution of our past DDL-SQ (Standard Quality) downloads.

We've been shipping HQ downloads since February 15, so if you've purchased a download after that date, your download is HQ.

Just bear in mind that with this higher quality comes larger file sizes. DDL-HQ downloads are between 600 MB and 1.9 GB in size, which means they will take longer to download and take up more storage space on your device.

And now for the next 30 days we are offering past DDL customers FREE upgrades to DDL-HQ versions of their purchases.
